30 and Broke

In 9 days I will be headed to Alpine Valley, Wi. to see Pearl Jam at their 20th Anniversary Festival.  This will be my 30th, and 31st Pearl Jam Show and I can’t say I’ve ever been more excited to see Pearl Jam.  The summer of 2010 I toured the United States and watched several Pearl Jam shows, 2 with my little brother who will accompany me to Alpine Valley.

I remember the first time I heard Pearl Jam in 1992, I went to my then Youth Pastor’s apartment, where he turned on “Alive,” from the moment I heard that first riff on the guitar, blew my mind.  My life was never the same. I know it sounds ridiculous, but Pearl Jam has been with me through everything the last 20 years.
